Stories in Silence is a series of paintings captures life fragments from the everyday lives of ordinary people in China, based on my own experience of living in Beijing from 2020 to 2022. I believe in the power of reality and everyday life, which could have extraordinary moments within the ordinary. Beneath those seemingly mundane routines, there are shared emotions, untold stories and the hidden hope.
